Terms and Conditions of the Nebius Robotics & Physical AI Awards

Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Awards (the “Award”) is organized by Nebius B.V.
(“Nebius”) to recognize and reward innovative AI products in the Robotics & Physical AI industry. The Award aims to increase awareness, engage with high-potential startups, and position Nebius as a provider with profound industry expertise.

1. Eligibility criteria for Participants

To participate in the Award, startups must meet the following requirements:

a) Develop solutions and products in fields such as

  1. Foundation Models, Robot Brains and Runtime for Physical AI.

  2. Data Engines, Synthetic Data and Simulation for Physical AI.

  3. Industrial Robotics Deployment and Transformation with Physical AI.

  4. Vision AI and Streaming Video Analytics.

  5. Platforms for Benchmarking, Visualization, and Evaluation of Physical AI.

b) Be at stage from pre-seed up to and including Series C round or self-funded.

c) Have a legal entity, a working website, a product Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.

Nebius reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or reject any company’s participation in the Award for any reason, including but not limited to failure to meet the eligibility criteria, incomplete or inaccurate application, or any other reason that Nebius deems fit. Nebius' decision in this regard shall be final and binding.

Startups admitted by Nebius for the participation in the Award shall be referred to hereinafter as “Participant” or “Participants”.

2. Compliance with Sanctions

By participating in the Award, Participants warrant that they, their officers, directors, employees, and agents, are not subject to any sanctions, embargoes, or other restrictive measures imposed by the United Nations, the European Union, the United States of America or any other applicable government or regulatory authority.

Nebius reserves the right to verify the compliance of Participants with these warranties and to refuse or reject any company’s participation in the Award if it has reason to believe that the Participant is not in compliance with these warranties.

3. Evaluation Criteria

The Award will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Technical Innovation & Excellence: The solutions and products are of originality and technical sophistication, that pushes the boundaries in artificial intelligence, robotics, simulation technologies, or infrastructure development, and possesses robust engineering implementation.

  2. Real-World Implementation & Reliability: Solutions and products should demonstrate maturity in practical settings through successful pilots, deployments, proven performance, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

  3. Market Potential & Ecosystem Adoption: Solutions and products should demonstrate clear market demand and viable pathways to widespread adoption through early customers, strategic partnerships, open-source traction, or other evidence of scalability potential.

  4. Problem-Solution Fit & Responsible Vision. Solutions and products should effectively address genuine customer or industry pain points while incorporating responsible practices that prioritize safety, privacy, and ethical considerations.

Each category will apply the criteria with the following weightings:

Each member of the jury will assess the participants based on these criteria using a 10-point scale.

4. Jury Panel

The Award will be judged by a panel of at least three experts (“Jury Panel”), consisting of:

a) Recognized experts from the Robotics and Physical AI industry, invited by Nebius to participate in the jury panel.

b) A single representative from Nebius, who will provide expertise on the company’s industry knowledge and requirements.

c) A single representative from Nvidia, who will provide expertise on the company’s industry knowledge and requirements.

The Jury Panel will be responsible for evaluating the participants and selecting the winners based on the evaluation criteria.

5. Prizes

Details of the prizes for the Award will be made available on the Nebius website https://nebius.com/robotics-physical-ai-awards. It is the responsibility of participants to check the website for the most up-to-date information about the prizes.

6. Participation Terms

By participating in the Award, Participants agree to:

  1. Provide accurate and complete information about their company and solutions and product.

  2. Grant Nebius the right to use their company and solutions and products’ information for promotional purposes.

  3. Participate in the evaluation process and provide any additional information requested by the Jury Panel.

  4. Attend the Award ceremony and other related events (if selected as a finalist or winner).

7. Publication and Marketing

  1. By participating in the Award, Participants agree to the inclusion of their competition results, names, company names, products and solutions information in rankings published by Nebius and to the publication of such rankings and information. Moreover and more specifically, Participants agree to the use by Nebius of:

a) Their names, (company) logos, and trademarks in Nebius' marketing activities, including but not limited to press releases, social media posts, email marketing, and advertising materials.

b) Their success stories and case studies in Nebius' marketing materials, including but not limited to blog posts, whitepapers, and webinars.

2. Nebius will use this information exclusively to promote the Award, the winners, and the Participants, and to showcase the innovative solutions and products in the Robotics and Physical AI industry

8. Privacy

Nebius and the Participants shall adhere to the applicable legislation in the field of personal data protection, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

9. Publication of Results

The results of the Award will be published on [Date] on the Nebius website https://nebius.com/robotics-physical-ai-awards and on the official social media channels of Nebius. The publication will include the names of the winners, their company names, and a brief description of their solutions and products. The winners will be notified individually via email before the public announcement.

10. Intellectual Property

a) Participants retain all intellectual property rights to their products and solutions.

b) By participating in the Award, each Participant grants Nebius a non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty-free, worldwide and perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, make publicly available their product information and materials, including, but not limited to, images, photographs, videos, trademarks and logotypes, solely for the purposes of (i) evaluating the Participant’s products, and (ii) promoting the Award.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of or related to the Award shall be resolved by the District Court of Amsterdam, (Rechtbank Amsterdam).

12. Amendments

Nebius reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

Participants are responsible for checking the latest version of the Terms and Conditions on the Award website.

By participating in the Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Awards, startups acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
