Kubernetes Dashboard (Deprecated)

by Kubernetes
Observability

Deprecated: This product has been deprecated by its upstream maintainers. We recommend using Headlamp instead — a modern, extensible Kubernetes web UI with plugin support and an active community. Kubernetes Dashboard is a web-based UI for conveniently inspecting the state of your Kubernetes cluster. This package deploys the Dashboard together with an automatically created ServiceAccount that is granted the built-in view ClusterRole, with additional permissions to view Nodes, StorageClasses, and PersistentVolumes. The setup is designed for safe operational visibility: you can explore resources and their state without the risk of accidental modifications or exposure of sensitive data.

Key features

Automatic authentication setup

Creates a ServiceAccount during installation and configures it for seamless login.

Read-only access model

Uses the view role for safe cluster exploration without write permissions.

Token rotation

Regenerates authentication tokens automatically.

Console endpoint access

Provides quick access through application endpoints in the cloud console.
