Compliance with Israel’s data protection requirements

At Nebius, we recognize that your data is yours only and privacy is paramount. In line with this vision, we fully comply with the rigorous requirements mandated by Israeli law.

Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981

This landmark law establishes strict principles of personal data processing, including its collection, use, and disclosure. The Protection and Privacy Law sets the foundation for an individual’s right to privacy in Israel, limiting unauthorized data dissemination and access. The Privacy Protection Authority oversees compliance with this law and the related regulations.

Protection of Privacy Regulations (Transfer of Information to Databases Abroad), 5761-2001

Focused on the globalization of data, this set of regulations governs the transfer of personal data outside of Israel. It ensures that data transferred to foreign entities or jurisdictions receives a comparable level of protection to the level it would receive in Israel.

Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017

This regulation contains comprehensive security protocols that underscore the importance of safeguarding personal data. Entities such as cloud service providers are required to adopt stringent measures for preventing unathorized access and security breaches, reflective of the nature and sensitivity of the processed data.
