Jenkins is an open-source software development automation system written in Java. It helps automate the parts of software development that don’t require human involvement, facilitating continuous integration.
Jenkins supports hundreds of tools and services with over a thousand different plugins. Supported tools include such versioning utilities as Subversion, Git, and Mercurial.
